Hi, I have been running my rig for a while now. 3770k @4.2ghz and a 980ti.
Replaced my cpu cooler recently and noticed the temps got much better so decided to do a bit of extra overlooking. I got my 3770k to 4.4ghz at 1.235v and my 980ti to 1480mhz.
My cpu hits 79 on about 20 minutes run on OCCT Linpack but usually hovers around 77. Think the max I seen it hit in game (Witcher 3) was 69. My 980ti hits 75 in benchmarks and around 71 in the Witcher 3.
I know these aren’t bad temps but are they ok to keep set for good now ?
When testing stability on OCCT both normal and linpack I didn’t have a crash at this voltage but when I tried fallout 4 my pc froze, but after restarting I tried it again and had no crashes. Also tested other games and no crashes. Any idea what could have caused this ?
Thanks !
