Does anybody know if Nvidia are going to support Freesync?

I want to buy the Iiyama 4K monitor which is on sale which can be upgraded to Freesync but i'm definitely buying a new PC with a Nvidia graphics card for PhysX so not sure what to do and the Acer Gsync 4k monitor is a lot more expensive with not many inputs like the Iiyama has.
