I've had a radio controlled alarm clock for a few years. A while ago it suddenly gained an hour and this morning my alarm went off and it turns out I had got up half n hour early, gained 30 mins

Dunno if this down to the radio signal or just the clock is at fault.
If you've got a radio controlled clock, how reliable has it been for you?

My OS one has been with me since 2000 and it works great, it's no alarm clock for loudness or rudeness compared to my phone (!) and the phone updates itself automatically anyway with time servers so is just as accurate.

I guess it's only on my window pane just because it fills an otherwise empty space.

Got a lovely clock that is radio controlled, had it 3-4 years. Never gone wrong. I use my phone to wake me up though as it is loud and I don't need to be to the second accurate waking up :p

my parents have had a radio clock for almost a decade and it's never been wrong, except for when the battery died :p

Which clock do you have? I will try fresh batteries in mine but I don't trust it much now and too concerned it will wake me late next time.

I've had this one for about 20 years. It's still working just fine. The only thing you need to do is to remember to change the batteries and the clock gives you plenty notice of when they are starting to run out.
