Ive been considering one of these for a while now, after checking the sff-tech forum though it seems these things seem to have no end of problems. Dodgy sata cables, system randomly powering on and off, system posting with all fans blaring and no video display, systems sometimes refusing to power on untill cmos has ben cleared and the video card has been removed and replaced (sometimes that fix doesn't even work) and a whole load more that i can't remember at the minute.

I currently have a Shuttle XPC SS56GV2 as one of my systems and its been flawless, however looking at the literal avalanche of problems over at that forum really made me raise an eyebrow. Are the 25p's That prone to the mass of problems people seem to have with them?

I have had an SN25 for 6 months now. Its used for work and play so has to be very reliable.

I have found the Shuttle to be very good. There are a few minor issues that i have found can catch you out, but solutions are available.

The biggest issue i suffer is that if the unit crashes or i use the reset button, the SN25 does not detect my USB devices on re-boot. A real problem with USB keyboard. It's a pain, but i have to turn the unit off via the PSU switch and pull out the power cord for a few seconds. Then It powers back without issue. This seems fairly widespread, but may be due to any one of my components.

Dont let this put you off. This issue only really becomes a real bind if playing with overclocking and pushing to the limit.

Fan control is excellent and the unit runs very cool and quiet.

My spec: SN25P + AMD 4400X2 + 2GB Gskill + X1800XT 512MB + 2 x Hitachi 250GB HD's in Raid 0 + Razer Diamondback mouse and Saitek USB keyboard.

Did you have to take the duct out of the system so the x1800 could fit? Seems to be some people are saying it has to be taken out, others are saying if you fit the graphics card before the duct then the duct will slide in and not flex the card back.
