Are star citizen threads and discussion banned?

Have these gone the way of Brexit threads in GD i.e. are the mod team censoring star citizen discussion from the forum?

No, the previous thread was closed at the request of the creator due to it having declined into anything resembling constructive discussion.

I thought it was closed because certain people didn't like to have the vaporware they'd pumped thousands of pounds into criticised in any shape or form, and so went crying to the mods to close it.

This is currently being discussed, although the antagonistic attitude of this and the previous thread created since the closure of the main thread, are not helping your argument.
