Are TerraTec a good brand?

I'm desperately trying to find a cheap but Hi-Fi friendly solution to my new Sony laptop.

I've found the TerraTec Aureon 5.1 USB external soundcard. As it only offers phono output I'm assuming it must be pretty good, but the price of £30 suggests it's budget.

I have a dmx 6 fire which i wouldnt change for the world (although to be completely honest its better for music than games)

That's excellent for me. Music is more important than games.

I just hope the cheapy USB card is up to the job.
