Are the 360 Demo's free?

Never really got into the online malarky with my xbox (actually hardly ever play the bugger now) but im just wondering if the demo's you guys talk about are free or do i have to have live membership?

Their free yes but i'm not sure if you need a Gold Membership or if Silver is enough....Silver you don't pay for :eek:

You need the silver membership which is free.

You need to have a Live account, but it doesn't have to be paid (Gold)

A Silver account allows access to the Marketplace, where you can download game demo's, videos etc, and also pay for full versions of Live Arcade games using Microsoft Points.

There is one caveat.

If the demo is online multiplayer only, you will need a live gold account to play it.
