Allendale - e4300. 2mb cache, 800mhz FSB and a 9x multi. Does not have VT ( http://www.intel.com/technology/virtualization/index.htm )
Kentsfield - Quad core conroe with 8mb cache
I don't think they destroy anything, but rather some of the chips have faulty cache so they disable the dodgy bits and leave it with a clean 2MB.SidewinderINC said:as they are chips cut in the exact same way and have a full working 4mb cache and then have 2mb of it destroyed, meaning they can put the price of the 4mb cache chips up a lot higher.
