Are there actually any good cases for a media centre?

Hi,

I'm looking to replace my aging Sempron Shuttle with a new PC and just can't seem to find a decent case. I don't really want a new Shuttle as i've chosen a new board which has an HDCP compliant HDMI port and to be honest, a Shuttle probably wont fit where i plan to put my new system and it would look out of place anyway.

I've seen a Hiper Media Centre case, but it only has a 200w PSU, which would probably be fine, but it doesn't have room for fans or any vents. Also it needs a laptop DVDR size drive which would mean no HD-DVD or twice the price..The Sugo cases are even uglier than the Shuttle's, the Zalman HD135 looks nice but is quite big, and i'm struggling to find how it's worth anywhere near £210. Antec Fusion is good value, but a bit big and chunky.

Does anything exist in a low rise format like the Antec/Zalman but in a size half way between that and the Hiper?

Thanks

hmm are you after a desktop style case or a half sized tower? kind of look?

Silver Stone do some nice looking htpc cases like the

SilverStone LC11B-300
SilverStone LC10S-M+
SilverStone LC11BM-300 +
SilverStone LC11S-300
SilverStone LC11SM-300 + RC
SilverStone LC16B-M + VFD
SilverStone LC16S-M + VFD
Silverstone LC17S-C

This one by Antec is the dogs!

I was considering building a media PC around this very model but decided to sell my AMDx2 rig and build me a conroe system instead :D
Size wise it doesn't look much bigger than an AV amp so should integrate into an existing home theatre setup very nicely :)

wow cool, i hadn't seen the Silverstone and OriginAE cases before! I'm liking both the LC11m and the X10, but at £200 and only a little bit smaller than the Fusion i'm not sure on the value for money side!
