Are there any 22 inch monitors with good viewing angles

Well to get the best viewing angles you dont buy a TN but then you loose the 2ms Timings.

Why not buy the OCUK 24" ?, its a VA (better viewing angles) and cost under your budget.

Yeah, I've just been reading that basically no 22inch monitors have VA.

I'll probably have to get a 24". Not sure about the OCUK one though.

Both the models you've suggested are TN panel monitors. No good for viewing angles.

Almost everybody on here will recommend the OCUK 24" monitor. It's a superb monitor, don't let the brand put you off.

It has tilt adjustment, but no height adjustment. You can buy a VESA compatible monitor stand such as an Ergotron Neoflex, and still end up paying less than you would for that Dell.

I have just got this monitor.

Viewing angles are probably the best I have seen for a TFT. All I can say is they are good, and the backlight on the screen is powerful. The stand allows you to tilt and twizel 359 degrees, but not height adjustable.

I cant compare though because I have only ever had a cheap TFT in the past, and not seen one of the later panel types.

That's a TN so cant have that great viewing angles TBH.

So some of the 24's are TN and some are VA?

I've just stated the OCUK are meant to be VA, they got consignments mixed up and some were sent out and were TN's, they all got picked up FREE and swapped for a VA.

The TN's went in the B-grade section.

If you buy the OCUK 24" now its 90% cert you get a VA, if its a TN it cost you nothing but loss of time as OCUK pay to get it picked up and swapped over to a VA.

Another question then now I know a bit more about panels.

Are there any good 22 or 24 inch monitors with VA panels and a response time to rival TN panels?
