Eyefinity support is only on the 5x series and up since its incorperated into the hardware.

not possible just sold it on ebay like 5 mins ago plus i have an xfire mobo not sli and don't feel good with sli hack so im gonna get 2 5830's on the cheap but wanted to try the 4870's out 2

Hehe, I actually started to formulate a response as I actually have a 4870 with a display port I wondered why the OP wanted to know such a question for an old card and thought he was bonkers to ask about Eyefinity for a 4xxx series card ... he didn't btw
