As the topic really, going to get a new 600w PSU, will probably get a Tagan, always bought them in the past (a bit pricey i know, but never had one fail yet) and seen that Tagan do a 600w Modular version and was wondering if their as good as a standard PSU... I would like a modular as it would reduce the clutter within my case in my new C2D build... ;)

Thanks for any help...

there are no drawbacks with modular power supplys, its the same as an ordinary power supply just with the cables not attached, ive only just upgraded to a modular power supply and i would not look back, my case is so tidy now

Thx for the replay m8... Was in the Cases thread and people have been posting pics of cable management, some tidy pc's, and i thought a modular psu would really help... Will place an order, thx... :D

Thats the thing that worries me about my new build, the case, im going to get an Akasa Eclipse, just hoping the cables from the PSU will reach all the components...

The case in your pic looks nice and tidy, the pc in my sig looks like an explosion in a octopus processing plant, really want a tidy build for my new pc, plus it will help with cooling, as i'm going to be on air... :(
