Are there any games released this year that you have missed or want to play before 2018?

GOTY talks are usually a big thing towards the end of the year and I feel lile there must be some big hitters or sleeper hits that we have missed out on.

For me I would love to grab Wolfenstein 2 and Nier before the year is out. Also just thought about Edith Finch and The Observer.

Not on pc, but Horizon for me. Also being a big fan of the souls series I quite fancy trying out Nioh when it' released on pc in a week or so.

Game of the year for me was The Evil Within 2. Playing and enjoying Wolfenstein 2 and the new South Park game just now. Honourable mentions have to go out to the following games I played that came out this year, all of which were really great 8-10/10 rated for me:

Dishonoured 2 (or was this released at the end of last year?)
RE7
Prey
Outlast 2
Battlefield 1 (wrong year)
Titanfall 2 (wrong year)
What remains of Edith Finch
Blackwood Crossing.

I fancy playing Nier and The Observer too just haven't seen them at the right price yet...

Both 2016 FYI
Really? Oh well, I only played them this year when the were added to Origin Access. Probably wouldn't have played them for another couple of years until the price came right down given I'm not interested in the multi-player and the campaigns are too short to justify spending more than £10-15. Post corrected.

Hoping to finish Nier, Hellblade and BotW before the end of the year. Want to play Horizon too but not sure if its worth buying a PS4 just to play, maybe if i find one cheap i'd take a punt.

Probably several that I've missed but I don't mind waiting for the next sale.

Fortunately, two of the ones I'd like to buy have demos available on Steam.

Do want to try origins but I'll wait till it drops to 9.99. I bought a bunch of games but never complete them as most of my gaming hours go to multiplayer. Plus I get bored with open world games and their pointless quests, I'd love a game with a pure long storyline such as the uncharted series on pc.

For me, it's Dark Souls 3, Nier Automata, Bayonetta, BF1.

I hope we get new GPUs early next year, and pick up a new CPU that isn't overpriced, still running a 600 series GTX card from 2013 and it's really holding me back with these new releases.

Divinity Original Sin 2 is on the next play list although, with Zelda BOTW and Mario O to get through I doubt i will make it this year. I have really high hopes for Divinity as some are saying it is superior to XCOM2 WOTC which is some praise.

I would have made Warhammer 2 a priority but I want to wait for the DLC to land and un-lock more of the races before I dive back into it. It is not really a game you can dip-in and out of.

I was hyped for Destiny 2 however my bubble has been burst.

Re: 2017 awards, to be perfectly honest it has been such a strong year for gaming it will be interesting to see what PC games stand a chance against the onslaught from Nintendo and Sony. I think the only two PC games that are in with a shout are Cuphead and Divinity. Divinity is an RPG and so it won't beat Zelda but it might win best overall PC game.

I can see the critics gushing over Cuphead through.

All the other highly rated PC games look to be in the 'great not superb' category which is fine but I don't think they will win much, outside of the dedicated PC awards. It is a shame that AC: Origins could not be held until early 2018, as it is it will be up against Horizon, Zelda and i cant see it winning anything.
