I was a big fan of Crash Bandicoot, Spryo, Mario 64, Sunshine and Galaxy.

Are there any on 360 that have been done to the same sort of standard? With the same sort of enjoyment.

I just always play games with a serious tone, Skyrim, MGSHD, Res Evil and Mass effect.

But I'm now looking for something light hearted and fun to play, but not something thats just going to be dull and tedious.

The Prince of Persia games or Assassins Creed meet the definition of 3d platformer, but may not be quite what you're after.

yeah, Assassins creed and Prince of Persia are still serious games. Played both and they're both great! But look for something more along the lines of running around collecting stars and smashing boxes :D I'm actually playing Mario 64 at the moment using a 360 pad and emulator, just to get a fun fix.

I'll have a look at Kameo, I think that was a launch title wasnt it?

I thought kameo was quite poor due to the controls under water which was a shame. Rayman origins is excellent and well worth checking out.

Ever played psychonauts?

Agreed, psychonauts is worth checking out. There are some decent platformers about, but for the best of this gen you need a Wii.

I think I would have gotten on better with Kameo had it no come from Rare - compared to their best games it pales :/

While not in the standard of slower paced platformers, Sonic Generations is very decent.

If you had a Wii, Sonic Colors is another good one.

Both of these in my view are the best 3D Sonic games in a long time.

While it's technically a remake of an N64 game on the original Xbox, Conker's Bad Fur Day (or Live & Reloaded as the Xbox version is called) has to be my favourite platformer of all time - the humour and gameplay are just brilliant.
