I use HW all the time with coretemp .

I have a problem with HW showing very high volts on random things which i presume to be a software glitch so i wanted to try something similar so i can deffo put it down to software error.

I have tried open hardware but it shows my Vcore at .75v max

I would not worry about using software to measure voltage, they mostly tend to read wrong.

My 12v line reads 3v ~ some with all software.

Multimeter is the only way to read a proper voltage. But please be careful it is far to easy to fry a board.

I get that the odd time,my concern is the likes of the vcore/vtt and ram volts being high.

I dont own one but maybe not a bad thing ;)

I wasn't very clear as to what i need in my op.

I need something that will tell me the max volts as the "spikes" seem to happen overnight (i leave pc on most nights).I have noticed that the max temp in either real or coretemp is high also when this happens.

Another thing that got me a little concerned is on my 930's pads there are 2 lines of the pads that are much brighter than the rest and this has only happened recentley.
I'm sure i'm just being over cautious for a change :)

Thanks for the replies.
