Are there any speakers that allow two PCs to use them?

I've got two PCs next to each other, and it hit me that it would be nice if I could allow both systems to use one set of speakers...

I tried just plugging both systems into my existing unit, but the moment the second PC was attached I got a feedback buzz.

I suspect the answer is no to this, but it seems daft that I'd have to have 8+ speakers and 2 woofers for two PCs....

did you get feedback even when one PC was off? I suspect if you use one set with both PCs on it'd 1) cause problems and 2) sound bad.

I put a splitter into the speakers, and the moment I attached more than one soundcard to them, I got buzzing.

In an ideal work I'd just want both PCs just to play into the speakers (even at the same time)... The above solution does this, just I get the annoying buzzing...

Try using connecting it to an amp, then the amp out to your speakers. I think that's a more effective way of doing things.

I have surround sound speakers...

This just aint gonna fly is it :(
