I've been hunting for wireless 2.0 speakers over the last week or so, but every time I find something that looks promising, I dig out the manual and you find that it has a cable between the two speakers. For me, that's not wireless, but I can't find any terminology to search for that produces a meaningful result. I'm obviously aware they'll each need power.
Right now I'm running PC -> USB amp -> Passive bookshelf speakers
Those passive bookshelf speakers are on shelves, and there's a huge distance between them that crosses a window. So no way I'll be running a cable between them. But I could run power up to each independently.
I would quite like to take the USB Amp out of the equation to free up some more desk space, but may well be a crap idea.
