Are there any VA monitors suitable for gaming?

It's called black crush where some of the very darkest levels get a little blurred or lost and you loose some of that wonderful VA contrast. Some panels are better than others but generally it's getting better with each generation. Maybe also be because of the higher bandwidth connections we're using now.

Acer have the Predator Z35 on the way which I'm assuming is the same panel as the BenQ XR3501, 144hz 2560x1080 VA panels both which are tuned for gaming (the Acer has G-Sync). They're a bit on the pricey side and the contrast doesn't seem to be as deep as most other VA panels, however.
