Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a 20 inch non-widescreen monitor for photo editing / graphics work (plus a bit of gaming).

I'd like a high-ish res, so 1600x1200 maybe ?

I'm not really interested in this 'panel lottery', so something reliably good.
I'm guessing a S-IPS panel ? Don't want to go for a TN.

I had looked at the Dell 2007FP, but i'm having problems sourcing one at a semi-reasonable price (OC have a good price but no stock / ETA ).

Any other models i should look at ? Or maybe i should just wait for 2007FP stock ?

My budget is £200-300

Many thanks.

The company I work for (Medical Imaging) has always used NEC screens and they impress with their image quality and reliability, the MultiSync 2070NX looks a decent piece of kit.

Thanks for the reply :)

Had a quick look at the oc, the only 20inch NEC is the NEC MultiSync LCD20WGX2 @ £328.
A bit more than i had wanted to spend, but for a quality screen im not adversed to stretching the budget a bit.
Its quoting a "AS-IPS" display, would this be better than the Dell 2007FP panel ? Seems to be slightly faster response as well.

Don't suppose NEC makes a non-widescreen version ? :)

Thanks.
