Are there wifi-enabled monitors?

With the tendency to put system units out of the way and system units being largely metal, which blocks wifi signals, it seems to me that the ideal place to put wifi is the surround of the monitor. You can use the surround to house nice big aerials for improved transmission and reception, and communicate to the PC over a 5 Gbps USB 3 link.

Or am I overthinking it?

Wifi cards in base units have an antenna sticking out of the back to avoid the problem. Some even have a long cable before the antenna. A monitor would have to do the same.
