Are Thermaltake PSU's any good?

Basically I am rma'ing my corsair tx650 and int he meantime I've put a Thermaltake Evo Blue 550w modular psu in the system. My questions are these, are thermaltake psu's anygood and will the one mentioned power the below rig if I add an additional hd and upgrade the gpu from a 5770 to a 6870?

Rig
AMD 965
Asrock extreme 3 mobo
wd black 640gb hd
Asus 5770
1 dvd writer
cpl case fans

All at stock.

It's no antec but I think it should be OK until you get the Corsair sorted... Although having said that, I'm really surprised that a Corsair psu blew!

Had 2 go in 11 months. The first one popped in April after 4 months use. The second just went, in so much as it made a pop one morning and started giving out a stench of burnt plastic. Still worked but thought I best shift it before it took everything out.

Thermaltake PSU's are good, nothing wrong with them, everyone up to corsair, but you see in own experience...

Plus you system not too hungry, so will be enough for now.

If it's anything like the 550W version, it probably won't be dangerous, but have pretty poor efficiency by todays standards.

However there are some really good Thermaltake PSUs around, mostly the Toughpower series.

Mmmmmm - will have to swap it back out when the rma appears then
