Hi All I happen to read this in a thread on here ,and was wondering if there is any truth in it or is it just someones views ? :confused:

The P5B is a 965 chipset so perfect for the 6300/6400 cpu's as is the DS3.So not sure what you mean there.

6600 etx..Club better with the 975 chipset mobo's and the 680i mobo's :confused:

Seems as though it is easier to hit 500mhz on the 650i though, going by first looks. The 965 is a little more flakey at this higher end.

The later revision of 965 mobos like DS3 Rev.2 and the P5B-E are more capable of hitting 500Mhz +

only reason why people say E6300 / 6400 are better with 965 is because 965 ocs better than the 975s, suitable for low multi cpus, but there is no problem using E6600 with either 975 or 965.
