Hi folks
Simple question, are the Phenom II 940BE and Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 AMD 790X compatible straight out of the boxes?
Will they work together in a new build or is a bios upgrade required.
Thanks in advance.
 
according to gigabyte website bios F6 is required to run this cpu. nobody can tell you bios version on the mobo which is stocked in OCUK or any other shop without unpacking and running it first. but the bios upgrade is not big problem i think
