are these drivers necessary?

for years when ever i have wiped my pc i install "intel chipset" "realtek audio driver" just reinstalled windows 8.1 today and just want to ask if those really need to be installed or can i just install my nvidia drivers and leave the rest?

i5 3570k
Asus Maximus V Gene
16gb Ram
Samsung ssd
Asus GTX 970

You definatly need to instal the Intel chipset drivers.If you have a seperate sound card no need for the realtek drivers,if your using the Mobos on-board sound tho you will need them too ;)
 
ok thanks :) one more thing i normally get my drivers from the asus website! the realtek drivers on there were released in 2013 is it worth me going to the realtek website instead? and is that the same for intel chipset
