Not if you're a gamer - Interleaving's going to increase the ping times.

8Mb's nothing to complain about - there's not a lot left on the downstream SNR front though, so I doubt you always sync at 8Mb.

Well i didnt know this but iv been upgraded to ADSL Max (upto 8mb) for free, it did state that when it was done it could take upto 10-12 days for the line to stabalise but its far from that at the moment, im getting worse speeds than i was when i was on 2meg, i was getting 230-240kb/s on 2meg im getting around 180 at the moment even though im syncd at 8meg, that cant be right surely? Its been 12 days since the upgrade, was on the phone to them last night but they said give it till the weekend to see if it stabalises and see if i get any higher.

What speeds could i get with them line stats (average speeds, ball park figure)

ADSLMax will limit your BRAS profile to 2Mb until you've had a good 3 days at a higher sync rate. Chances are it's stuck at 2Mb (or maybe 1.5Mb if you're only getting 180k). It will change, just be patient.

I Will be monitoring the line for the next few days, will report back here.
