Are these Modules similar?

Hello there.

Im getting an extra 2GB ive currently got 2GB Crucial Tenth Anniversary PC5300C3 'Limited Edition' set at C4 1000MHZ because crucial dont make these modules anymore I need ones which are similar to them for stability reasons.

Will the Crucial Ballistix PC2-6400C4 be suitable to pair up to my tenth anniversary? Do you think the ballistix will run at 1000MHZ C4? Thanks much appreciated!

yes , However Crucial claim the lower Basilix 5300 memory is the same as the anniversary.

You seem quite lucky as I believe most people have had to RMA their crucial anniversary.

I got sick of rma'ing all the crucial and got 4 gb of These instead.

Ive never had any problems with my tenth anni! They've worked like a charm ever since I got them. So dya reckon the PC6400C4 Ballistix will match up to them? I want them both running to at least 1000MHZ C4. Thanks.

Crucial changed their 1gb sticks to single-sided DIMMS whenever they released their 2gb sticks.

Theses new single-sided sticks are not always compatible with the older double-sided sticks.
