my boogie bug is looking like **** need to upgrade in quality and downgrade in size

btw i have a G500 mouse

Not used it personally, but I like Razer and I trust them quite a bit.

If they say its good, its good.

I personally dont like wrist pads though, they interfere with my movement too much.

re:

I just purchased this mat for my nephew for his birthday, I was basically shocked how good it was and decided to buy one myself!:)

I done a small video review if anyone is interested...

The Vespula is a very good mat though perhaps a little small. Only problem I've had with this type of mat is that eventually the surface texture wears flat and the mouse won't glide as smoothly as when new. I've recently invested in a Razer Ironclad which is aluminium and very pleased with it. The Vespula and Destructor I had previously are superior (when new) but the limited life span has put me off plastic mats.

To be honest I have had these thoughts about how long its will last.
On the box is stat`s the mat is abrasion resistant so hopefully its designed to last a fair while ????

We will see

Cheers and thanks all

I've had two Destructors wear flat within a few months and were supposedly abrasion resistant. I only had the Vespula a short time when the Ironclad was released and I figured rather than spend 30 quid every few months on a plastic mat I'd invest in a metal surface. Far easier and less expensive in the long run to change mouse feet than the mat! The short time I was using the Vespula was a good experience however and perhaps Razer have improved the longevity of their products?

Still using my Steelseries 4d Gaming Mat, basicly it has to side's, quite smooth and rough. In just over a year the quite smooth side is dead smooth and my MX518 does not track properly, so just turned it over and used the rough side.

Contacted Steelseries but it was going to cost about £9 to send it back to Denmark and get a replacement under warranty, as they insist on a tracking number as proof of postage. I only paid £14 for the mat, so for a couple of pound more l could buy a new one.

If it's anything like the eXactmat, then it will be good :)

My eXactmat is still going after 3 or so years. Not much to go wrong with it though, metal wont wear out :p

re:

Just a heads up... I had a few issues as regards gaming, basically the mouse is so sensitive on the mat that its like gliding on ice, my kill / death ratio plummeted  ... I think my problem was you don`t have enough resistance you would normally get on most cloth type mats.
After a few days I have finally got used to it:cool:
Cheers all

Had a go on one of those myself, very good mat. Wouldn't worry about how long it will last, I replace mine about every year anyway :)

re:

After 7 days of use the mat surface has become very worn / scratched etc:eek:
On the box it states its abrasion resistant:confused:
Decided to get a refund and have now ordered the Boogie Bug AimB.Pad XL from overclockers.
Cheers all
