I have run a duplicate file checker across all my hard drives and am a little unsure about some of the results.

I have a long list where the program has paired an mp3 file with a .bak named something like 0000003.bak

The .bak files are located in a folder associated with my anti virus software.

The dates for most pairs match and the CRC32 checksum value is the same for the pair.

Has my anti virus software made bak up copys of my mp3 files ? or is it doing something else ?

Thanks

It came from this List and is called DoubleKiller but i cant find it there again,

It seems that the files in question are created by my virus software while it is feeling a bit proactive, they are not virus but the software does not like them, a quick stop and restart of the virus software cleared them all.
