hello everyone, I am still pretty new to overclocking and have been fiddleing about... my system is as follows; e2180, asus p5k, 4gig ram (800mhz 5-5-5-18) and a 8800gt. i have got my cpu running at 3330mhz using a fsb speed of 370 and a multiplier of 9, I have the ram at 740mhz and 4-4-4-12 with 1:1. and vcore is at 1.5375v my max temps under load are 65c. is this good? i am basically wondering if these are the best settings for my system? i get 13000 under 3dmark which is better than what it was before i started overclocking (11700) so obviously a good sign, but should i have different settings? im sorry for such an open question im just not sure if what i am doing is right. thanks everyone, and merry christmas

Have you tested to see if it's stable at 3.33ghz?

I'd say you'd be able to go a bit further than that anyway.

i ran orthos for 5 hours, i reckon that is long enough. would i get better results by changing the multiplier or anything? the stock multiplier is 10x i changed it because i read somwhere that it is better? is that right?

Your FSB and memory speed are still pretty low, so there's no need to be changing the multiplier again.

I would just keep upping the FSB.
