OK, cool. I'm using an eVGA 780i, Q6600, 9800GTX, 4 (2x2)Gb OCZ PC2-8000 RAM, all in an antec 900. The version of speedfan I'm using is the latest one from their website, version 4.34.
I don't know how to figure out load temp, monkey. Sos.
I've just been into the BIOS. It says that my CPU is at 31 celsius, my board is at 24 celsius, and my MCP (whatever that is) is at 43 celsius. I presume these are OK...
Yeah, the thing that worries me though is that reading of 55 celsius on the 'temp' entry. I'm worried because it has a little flame icon next to it and this makes me think my tower is about to become the towering inferno.
I clicked 'configure' and 'temp' is listed as 'lm75' - whatever that is.
I downloaded HWMonitor. It says my GPU is 53. But I don't think that's what the 'temp' was referring to, because I checked it out and LM75 is actually a temperature monitoring device.
