Are these temperatures ok?

I've got my 3770K overclocked at 4.6GHz (1.2250 CPU core volt) on the MSI Z77 MPower board, with the Intel Liquid Cooler with 2 fan setup (INTEL BXRTS2011LC RTS2011LC)

At idle, Real Temp is reporting between 24 & 31c. Using the blend option in Prime95, I'm seeing a maximum of 72 on average, however when using the High stress level test in IntelBurnTest, I'm seeing temps of up to 98c.

It doesn't feel right to me. I've removed the pump, applied some Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste and re-seated the pump as best I could but I'm still not seeing any improvements in IntelBurnTest.

Has anyone got any suggestions, or is this completely normal?

Here's a link to the CPU ID validation page, in case it helps: http://valid.canardpc.com/2659139

Thanks.

That's pretty hot for IBT definitely, Prime95 is fine and for general use you'll probably see a max of 60'C.

Don't worry about it, you don't run IBT daily 24/7 so you'll be fine. You have a low vcore too, which is good.

Thanks. I ran it again, and the temperatures have dropped :S. I'm assuming the paste just needed to settle.

Don't stress test too often with IBT, even the Intel engineers don't recommend it. As long as it's stable and below 70'c in real use you'll e fine :)
