just got my Q6600 Go stepping off a mate and i have put it at the same settings he had it at (3.4ghz, 8x multi, 425fsb, 1.35v's) and it passes intelburntest fine (wOOt, my 680i can clock quads), but i'm a tad concerned about my tempertures

i'm using a Zalman 9700NT with Mx-2 thermalpaste

heres a screeni of speedfan

Try comparing temps with Core temp or Real Temp.
Like the above posters please post a larger pix.

opps, just assumed it would be bigger in the link, lol
canni seem to get a bigger upload res, so i'll just list temps

SYS 89
CPU 98
AUX 34
GPU 60
Core0 94
Core1 94
Core2 87
Core3 86

That is hot, reduce the overclock and then like jessjess mentioned redo the heatsink.
I assume thats under load!

thats at uber extreme load tho, nothing stresses like intelburntest, its immense. Could easily bring what looks like a stable PC to its knee's, lol, if you can pass intelburntest you have a 100% stable pc

case airflow, tbh, it dire. Its a lexa NZXT. and the problem is the case is practically cut in 2 by the graphics card, which means the air from the front intake fan at the bottom never gets to the CPU cooler, lol.
i have re-seated it several times, but will try again

 jesus thats scorching !!!!!!!!

my Q6600 is at 3.2 and after intel burn test my cores are all at no more then 65c

what cooler and vcore dude ?

as engstrom0304 said trying using real temp or Core Temp @ http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ to see if the right temps are being reported by speed fan.

Also tell us what your Core Voltage is at.

At the moment with the stock cooler i get about 77c using Intelburn test. but am waiting for a new cooler.
