Hi

I've been running my PC with these temps for a while now but I just want to check if they are ok?

I generally use PC Wizard to check the temps as I find it's about the most accurate imo.

Processor Temperature: 37 °C
Mainboard Temperature: 29 °C

Processor Temperature (Core 1): 45 °C
Processor Temperature (Core 2): 44 °C

GPU Temperature: 51 °C

Hard Disk Maxtor: 37 °C
Hard Disk Hitachi: 36 °C

These are the idle temps when I'm just on the desktop etc, I assume they would get higher when gaming.

Thanks for your help,

What CPU is that? & load temps are the most imprtant.....go & get prime95 running!!

My spec is in my signature, the CPU is a Pentium Dual-Core E2180 OC'ed to 3GHz (stock speed is 2GHz). I'm using an aftermarket cooler: Akasa AK-965 cooler.

As above mate - load temps are really what count.

I think these is a sticky which details useful overclocking apps - get a copy of prime and run it for an hour or so - then report back on the temps. I would also suggest using coretemp.
