Are these temps ok?

well i have left the cpu monitor program running while i have let my PC run a few rounds of valley benchmark while eating my tea.

the cpu temps seem fine. i think them other temps near the top are for the motherboard. are they ok temps? 160C seems a bit high.

Cpu temps look grand, id say you can ignore those 100c + readings. If something was running that hot, you would soon notice it.

It would have shut down before 100c, don't worry. Thats a different sensor.

yea i was thinking that.

i havent see it hit that high just it says it in the max section so was curious.

Software can be a bit iffy with temp monitoring, i remember once afterburner reporting my gpu at 150c at idle. Now i know nvidia gtx 470's were hot, but not that bad.

Your temps are fine. I think those sensors are for the voltage regulators. If they'd got that hot, it would have either shut down or you'd smell it!

Software monitors can come up with some really odd readings sometimes. According to one fan monitor I used, I have a 120mm case fan running at 35000 RPM...somehow I doubt it's running at Mach 0.6!
