Hi..
A mate of mine says something is going wrong with my temps.
i.e the cpu is 19c and the system is 20c(see bios pic)
And he says it cant be right?
My mate says the cpu should always be higher then the system is this true?
I have tried all the temp progs I can and they all say the same.
So guys is my mobo telling lies or are these temps ok.

Please check out the pic here http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/deusex1

You have to download it to see it ok.

Thanks

It's not always true that the system temp will be lower than the CPU temp. I think he is getting mixed up with ambient temp. Your CPU cannot be lower than ambient temp if air cooled.

All boards take their system temp from a sensor located somewhere on the board, which is often located in different places. It is quite possible, and likely that the location of your system temp sensor is a little hotter than the location of your CPU.

In my case, my system temp is 42, yet the CPU temps are 36,37,38,36.

Thanks for the info :
Maybe i was getting a little paranoid over it :)

I am looking for a prog that will show cpu/gpu temps+ambient temp.
If there is such a prog.
