so would ther be any point in getting some other ram? i was thinking of getting..

Corsair 1GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x512MB) CAS2

but the timmings are pretty much the same!!

No point at all. You may find the corsair overclocked better if you went that route. All depends on what IC's are on the Adata though :)

I got this ram

Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3200PT

And I just changed the settings to 2/3/3/5 from 3/3/3/8 and its working absoltuly fine no extra volts still at 2.7, memtest stable an all, going to start changing one of those 3's to a 2, no 2gb memory achieves 2/2/2/5 but achieves 2/3/2/5 so i'll try that.

what are ic's? im planning on over clocking my cpu and gpu.. what can i clock on this ram?

im pretty much a noob when it comes to overclocking...
