Are we getting any new monitors this year? better Gsync/Freesync screens with HDR etc??

Looking to buy a new monitor to go on second PC and was wondering are we due any better upgraded monitors this year? TV's seem to be improving all the time and the prices are coming down and down, yet monitor space is so boring at the moment and pricing is sky high.

Any ideas if and when we might see anything new?

Short throw laser projectors might be the next big thing if the price drops a bit.
I appreciate you're talking about actuals, but they could do so much with these. Imagine having the choice of a flat or curved screen just be changing a setting which changes the shape of the projected screen.

Nope, not really and when we do see screens with proper hdr support etc., be prepared to spend big money

And even then, they still won't come anywhere close to that glorious oled screen of yours
