As title just wondering if people expect any heavy discounting after Wednesday?

On the hunt for a sub £300 card and try g to resist buying now

Surely you can wait 48 hours?

All depends on how the 6950 performs. Could well come in around £250 and by undercutting the cost of a GTX 570, Nvidia would surely have to lower price on their cards by £20-30. All ifs and buts tho. If your watercooling, GTX480 @ £250 is cracking price. Don't think we're going to see a shift in 6800's price until after the new year personally and GTX 470s won't drop any further in price either.

MSI GTX 470 £205.61

Personally this would be my choice. A GTX 480 for £250 Isn't bad either if you can cope with heat and noise...blah blah...

Cheapest GTX 570's are still about £270ish.

Persuade her to wait for a couple of days if you can!!

I cant find anyone willing to go cheaper and most have now sold out, so doubtful it will go any cheaper now I am afraid. Its practically nearly a 5850 performing card, so for £100 its not gonna happen really.
