I can't help but notice over the past few years. I would say around the time the Apps and App store started to appear on the iPhone that widgets haven't being really used as much anymore on Mac OS X.

Am I right are you guys still using widgets?

Only one I seem to sorta use would be iStat Pro and maybe the weather widget.

I use iStat Pro, stickies, weather, world clock and calendar. There are quite a few cool widgets out there, most of them are pretty pointless though.

I use the Calculator one and that's it. Maybe the Calendar one to quickly check a date, but that's it.

I don't even bother going to the dashboard. Most of what I can find on a widget takes about 5 seconds to find in Google so there's not much point for me.

I use a few;

Calculator
Weather
Application Update
Widget Update
BBC Radio Widget (Phantom Gorilla)
A web clip of the BBC most read stories
To Do List
Calender
iStat Pro
Stickies

I use the radio and the web clip most, just enough stuff that I use often, I could lose a few (calender, weather) but all are somewhat useful.

I use iStat and Stickies tbh. It's a shame that there aren't many good widgets, although it has been a while since I last looked. The Dashboard layer on OSX blows away the Vista/Win7 implementation easily and is just too slick, it just feels under utilised.
