yeah - i'm really impressed with it as a simple PC OS (not sure i could switch over totally ). When it worked straight with my Belkin wifi adapter (which was a complete PITA with Vista) i was blown away!
If i could get a nicer GUI for a "sofa-PC" that would be sweet - but i'm working on all of that.
Raise the DPI setting to something like 170. It'll make all the UI huge. I do that with XFCE for couch surfing. You can then use Firefox ctrl = to enlarge web pages to be read from a distance.
I havent really had any problems apart from trying to configure ndiswrapper to work with my Belkin Wireless N. I finally did it and am loving Ubuntu now. Its a shame Game Developers are so far up Microsofts *** that they dont code the game for Linux operating systems aswell considering its one of the fastest growing OSs.
