Right, i'm going to hopefully transfer to a Tesco store closer to my future University and i'm just wondering when the best time would be to work as i don't want to be left out because i have contracted hours.

So what hours are you contracted? Best hours to work? I was thinking the best hours to aim for would be something on a saturday but not too early as obviously friday night events... :p

First term dont work, social life is 24/7. after that saturday/sunday day shift. So you can still go out in the evening/night.

Mm, i had thought about perhaps asking to start work at the start of November so i can get myself sorted in the first few weeks.

How long is a term at University?

Mm, thankyou for the posts so far. :)

Join the OTC.

You easily can get £200 a month just for working 2 weekends a month and showing up for a Wednesday night training session. It also means that while you are working you are also socialising, some people I know only socialise with the OTC and end up just always getting paid to go on the lash. It is a good way of doing things.

OTC? :)
