I don't believe happiness is or can be a constant state, you would be a robot if you did not fluctuate a bit. However I look at other peoples lives and realised how less happy I could be...I live like a king compared to 99.99999% of people since the dawn of time.

Happiness comes from creativity for me, if you are unhappy you need to find something creative to do.

What's with the rolleyes? Who would want to be forever alone? But as to importance, it's 1 out of the 6 factors in my life. I'd rather be 83% happy with my life than be with someone I'm not 100% happy with in hope of reaching that 100% happiness in life. Make sense?

I have a great wife, a great son and another little one on the way. I see my friends pretty regularly and generally get to enjoy my hobbies so that side is good.

Work isn't particularly ideal as I'm away from home, not paid enough for what I do and they aren't matching some of there promises so that side is less than ideal.

All in all I'm happy if a little frustrated.

Happiness is, like many things, circumstantial. Nobody can be completely happy all of the time, life gets in the way, but the best we can be is completely happy sometimes and mostly happy the rest of the time. One of the things I've learned over the last few years is just how much a positive mental attitude can go a long way.

So for the time being I have a beer in my hand, the prospect of a good night's sleep ahead and having spent the day making the eyes with a pretty girl, I'd say I'm happy right about now and we'll see what tomorrow brings.
