It's one of the built in holds.

Launch is on hold as weather conditions are still being assessed.

EDIT: They are assessing upper level cloud and wind conditions.

They do. No sense firing the thing if it gets blown off course and they have to hit the 'destruct' button.

Yep, although there is sound. Well every now and then. Only when they talk which can have massive gaps.

cant get the higher kbps one to open on my Vista Pc's. Works on my XP installs. How do i solve this?

What do you mean it won't open. It downloads a file which you open in windows media player or similar.
