hello, i downloaded bootcamp so i could use vista on my mac, i set the partition to 32gb for windows, rebooted and put in my pre-rc1 vista. it installed fine but know i cant get back into osX!!
Ive tried holding down the option key - but it just loads windows! help!

When you switch on the computer, hold down Alt/Option until you get a screen with two hard disk icons on. Don't just press Alt/Option once like you do on a PC, really hold it down and don't let go!

sorry, talking out my backside!

its system preferances, then startup disk :)

You were right the first time. It's control panel in Windows. System Preferences is OSX.

i cant find it in control pannel! and holing alt + option doesnt work for me!

i is stupid - i wanted to get away from windows so i brought a mac, the ninstaleld windows!

Firstly, because you installed Vista and not XP, there won't be any option in Control Panel.

I recommend you boot from your Mac OS X DVD by inserting the disc, rebooting and holding down C until you get the setup program. From there you can choose an option in the menu bar to set your startup disk.

i wanted to know the answer to the question.! why did you put vistaon your mac!/
