ARGB controller, fans, and ports on motherboard

I am getting a Antec Case and some 140 mm fans with a controller

I need two ports on the motherboard, 4-PWM and 3 pin ARGB from the controller

Do all motherboards have these ports ?

I am AMD, X570 mobo

any assistance appreciated

No, but almost all modern boards do. X570 was on the borderline of RGB/ARGB, but the majority of later AM4 boards will have a few headers available.

D_LED port on gigabyte ones seems to be the ones you can use

I have a MSI X570 Tomahawk Max board and it has two argb connectors AFAIK. It certainly has one and it works great. Most X570 boards will have at least one. It's when you move down to B450 and B550 that you need to be careful as many boards don't have them.

As it stands I need to buy a new board as my ASROCK X570 board throws up a usb error but it still works so I wanted to buy a better X570 board and shove it in my new Antec C8 case. Only done RGB until now and not ARGB so I was trying to see what the difference is setup and config wise.

so what is your current board?

ASROCK x570 pro4 and it has one ARGB port according to the manual. I should be able to plug the adapter from the controller into that
