So. Ive just up graded my pc and case.
I decided to buy and go for 9 cooler master argb fans and water cooling.

I have managed to get a power header for the fans but its sata power. The argb lights are daisy chained and i can cycle the colors however all the same color and not able to do it indavidualy no biggy as they work.

The issue,so far I had to disable bios cpu fan error unable to use bios for fan control,
With that and I guess using sata power the fans are on full and I am unable to adjust then.

Is there any argb/power adaptor that will allow me to adjust every thing using softwear

Sorry if I have the argb and rgb mixed up . Still trying to get my head around the diffrence. So I will explain the connectors.. 3 pin a or rgb head and 4 pin power

Cheers

That sata powered fan hub (assuming pwm) will have 1 fan that connects to a mobo fan header which will set the speed for all fans on the hub. You'll be able to control the lot in bios through that fan header (cha.1 for example). If you want them split, you'd need to use more hubs. Eg, 3x3, & cha.1-3.

ARGB will need a lighting hub, pretty sure CM would have one within their product range.

iCue is alright and a popular option. You'd need a lighting node Pro and 2x lighting rgb hubs (6 ports each).

I prefer to use razer chroma now. It won't control fans like iCue but I use bios and fan hubs for that. G. Skill lighting app integrates with chroma and chroma does per led lighting, plus I already use it for mouse/mat so no extra bloat.

You've also got the mobo software but would need an argb hub. I only use Asus board and aura is a steaming pile of dung.

Q can you use rgb cable connector on a argb header. I know it would be inpossible the other way round . Just wonderd if you still get same functionality
