I am planning my first ARGB setup and wanted to check if you have 3 fans daisy chained will the motherboard see 3 separate RGB devices or just 1?

I woul be using the Arctic P12 PST PWM ARGB fans and most likely an Asus motherboard.

Depends on the control software you use.
Some will see it as one, which you can then partition off into three separately controlled devices, or even more, if you like. A popular one for certain models of RGB fan is to make six devices - Three outer rings and three inner hubs, with various different colours and patterns running on each.

Basically, the ARGB (in this daisy-chained instance) is one long strip where each single LED can be individually controlled.

Thank you for the information and I most likely would be using the Asus software but I have found a Razer RGB controller so could use Razer Synapse and Chroma Studio.
