Argghh help...

Trying to fix a laptop for a friend... it has a fresh cracked version of vista business installed.. absolutely everything works fine except the wireless capability its not even showing it as a device.. internet works on ethernet connection so im assuming its a driver issue?

If its not showing it could be turned off, is there a hard ware switch or FN key toggle.

after much messing about... vista business dont even support the wireless chip!! .. atheos or sum rubbish... bah.. the stupid thing is its HIS laptop from new.. but cant find the windows vista home premium disk.. sigh

you sure it was on a disk? most laptops nowdays tend to have a recovery partition thats hidden from windows. you usually press an F key to boot into it after the POST screen
