1) Mid size, sort of Antec 300'ish for example.
2) Will have to be black - Plan on putting in a Matrix Orbital Typhoon, which are only in black.
3) Good top/rear ventilation. I for one don't really see the need to fan harddrives, so a nice big rear/top fan is fine for me.
4) Preferably a side window
5) Simple looks...

Top of my list so far is an Antec 300, but as I've pointed out in another thread:-
1) I'd have to spray the front metal behind the grill as you can see it
2) No side window.

Everything else about it is fine I believe...

Any other alternatives anyone can think of sub £100?

Hiper Osiris

Interesting!!!

Slightly thrown by those optical disc covers on the two top slots... I assume you could just not use those and mount 5.25 devices (DVD drives, LCD display) in them flush with the case front as per normal? I'd also prefer the buttons/usb on the front rather than top... But minor!

Not sure if I'd put my PSU in taking air thru the bottom, just asking for loads of dust to be taken straight into the PSU!

it has a dust cover on the psu intake of the case but i don't think it has one
for the fan next to the hard drive

also the side panel isnt just mesh there is perspex on it also so no dust getting in there

a lot more detailed pic's can be found here

Very interesting... Couldn't see that dust cover mentioned... Wonder how easy it is to remove/clean?

Also:-
1) Wonder why the MB tray and rear isn't black?
2) The window is also quite low. Suspect you wouldn't be able to see your CPU fan?

But is definately a nice option... So far it's just that and the Antec 300 to choose from :)

The Hiper case has been very well reviewed recently in Micromart and on Bit-tech I believe.

Good case for the money, has a bit of a NZXT Adamas flair to it but if you like the styling then it is one of the better value all alu chassis available at the moment.

PC7+ has to have a mention from me, very good cases and a bit of a classic now.

Oops! My bad! And damn you for giving me another option!!!! :)

It appears to be very similar to my existing Lian PC65. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNOzPQ7YXmk.

But with a single front 120mm fan instead of dual 80s, and a rear 120mm fan instead of an 80mm. Shame the chimney fan is still an 80mm one and not 120!

From tests in my PC65 I found the front fans achieve nothing for the CPU. The rear was the most important, but the chimney one still made a surprising impact. My chimney fanonly comes on when the CPU gets really hot...

Finally it has the leds on the front where you can see them, unlike the Hyper!

So either the Hiper or the PC7 (with a side window) then :)

Unless I wait for the new PC7F or PC60F :) (God know their cost/timings though)

Go for the Hiper.

Got it! All I can say are the photo's of the case don't do it justice! Looks extremely solid, sleek and well put togethor in the flesh! I've changed all the three internal Hiper fans to their chrome LED versions (same spec). I'm also putting one of them on the Noctua cooler going in...
