Argh can't update Flash!

I'm trying to update Flash, but when I go to the Adobe site it says the latest version is 9 and when I click to download it refreshes the page and says "Version 6.0.88.0 installed successfully"!

That's the page I'm using. At the moment neither ******** nor Youtube work because it says I don't have flash installed!!

use the exe's on here

download shockwave + flash exe's then close IE, double click the exe to install

Further to bledd's advice, download the Flash uninstaller and run it before installing Flash http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14157
